We are both state-licensed Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) with extensive medical training and real-world emergency experience. Your child’s safety is always our highest priority.
With formal training and professional experience as ABA and Behavior Technicians, we are uniquely prepared to support children with autism or behavioral needs in a compassionate, structured, and affirming way.

Sharon brings over a decade of childcare experience combined with active medical credentials as a licensed Emergency Medical Technician and Medical Assistant. A graduate of Stony Brook University with dual degrees in Sociology and Biology, she has cultivated a unique understanding of child development through both academic study and practical experience—from leading children’s programs for six years in her community to her current work in emergency medicine.
Sharon is currently advancing her medical education while continuing her hands-on work with patients and families. Certified in CPR, AED, and BLS, she approaches childcare with the same diligence, organization, and compassion she brings to her clinical roles. Sharon’s true passion lies in creating safe, engaging environments where children can thrive while their parents enjoy complete peace of mind.
Dalva specializes in pediatric care with credentials spanning emergency medicine, behavioral health, and clinical assistance. As a graduate of Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, she has dedicated her career to supporting children’s wellbeing through multiple roles: Emergency Medical Technician, Pediatric Medical Assistant, and Certified Behavior Technician working extensively with children with autism.
With nine years of hands-on childcare experience, Dalva combines clinical expertise with exceptional patience and warmth—qualities that fuel her aspiration to become a pediatrician. Her training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) allows her to provide truly inclusive care, adapting seamlessly to each child’s unique needs while maintaining a joyful, engaging atmosphere.
Together, Sharon and Dalva founded The Kindred Network to bridge their professional medical training with their lifelong passion for childcare. As pet owners and animal lovers themselves, they extend the same compassionate care to four-legged wedding guests through their pet-sitting services.
Their approach is defined by energetic engagement, unwavering patience, and the highest standards of safety—ensuring that every child receives not just supervision, but meaningful, joyful interaction tailored to their individual personality and needs.
We started The Kindred Network because we saw a need for childcare that doesn’t force parents to choose between safety and fun. As medical professionals, we provide the safety. As lifelong caregivers, we provide the fun. And as animal lovers, we extend that same care to pets.
